Landscape I

‘Landscape I’ explores my connection to nature and how it has influenced my self-representation through a moving image piece depicting myself lying in the landscape. The position I lay in shows my comfort in the location, both physically and mentally, allowing me to be at peace with the surroundings. I have captured the visual and auditory aspects of the landscape, such as the sounds of wildlife and the dispersal of sunlight, which is integral to my experience of nature. The landscape is interrupted by my presence before I become still enough to be considered part of the natural scene.
